About
My early years were spent immersed in my father’s hobby of marine fish keeping.
During my last 6 years of my school career, I successfully bred with around forty different tropical fish species.
After school I became a pharmacist, gave up the tropical fish but had inherited the marine gene from my father.
In 1989, a dynamic pet shop owner (specialising in fish – focused on marine) approached me to develop a few products for him to use and to sell.
This was the beginning of a new hobby that has grown into our business Aquapharm.
The journey has been fun, the mistakes have been few.
Our philosophy is to formulate products of the highest possible strength – there is no point in selling diluted bulk since it is expensive to handle and is not environment friendly (carbon footprint and packaging waste).
We learned very early that low grade ingredients result in poorly performing products.
The result of this is our growing range of tried and tested products that satisfy you, our wonderful customer’s needs, and that is what keeps you coming back for more.
